This is a method I invented myself. It is sooo much more deep than the way you are showing it. I call it Advanced Systematical Checking. You can do a million things with my system. For example I used my genius system and I got a 100% on my algebra 2 midterm and final from my system alone.
@KingConservative Yes, you are correct that the way I am showing it is not very deep. I looked up "advanced systematical checking" on You Tube and Google, nothing remotely relevant. I have friends who teach SAT prep who use non-calculator methods. I would like to see your method in action. Maybe a response to my video? Thanks for viewing and commenting.
Yes, I probably could. There are a lot of videos I did about a year ago where I included a lot of views of the keypad with the buttons circled in red. I could do a screen recording of pressing buttons, but that makes the viewscreen a lot smaller than I like it. I like to make my screenshots of the viewscreen to be very large. Another thing is that with a screen recording, my control over the sound would be less. I may try it sometime. What would you like to see me try to do?
Okay. Please give me a specific problem to work out and if you cannot do that at least give me a type of problem you want to see worked out and I'll try to do it with a screen recording. Since I haven't done it before it could be a total disaster. All I can do is try.
You are, of course, exactly right. When a person sees that -33 and is really thinking, your move, dividing by 4, makes sense. But I tried to approach this lesson from the POV that even if your thinking is unclear and you forget everything your algebra teacher taught you, you should still be able to get these problems right.
