i like how everyone hates BP now they made an oil spill, however they still buy the products that use the oil... plastic, petrol, the electricity in your home (fossil fuel power plants) , hell even toothpaste has oil in it! If you want to complain or actually do something about this why not actually stop buying these things?

@sargentlemon Everything you say is accurate, but we expect the company supplying such goods to do it in a responsible way. There is no getting by the fact that we are far too addicted to oil, but as long as we are, we can't have companies like BP drilling in an unsafe manner, especially in fragile ecosystems.

A major part of the Gulf of Mexico is being destroyed by the ignorance of the oil companies, and the responsible parties must have criminal charges brought against them. They can claim it was a terrible accident, but they are still responsible. If an average citizen gets fined thousands of dollars for littering on the street, then these criminals must also pay for their actions.

@craigslistraffic nah the two relief wells should get it in days or weeks. Look on the bright side...this was an exploratory well (at record depth) and now atleast you know that there is a lot of oil out there!
