Everyone knows mixed race people have a biological advantage, in such things as immune system, etc. It's also widely known the 'purer' your gene pool, the more likely you are to be unhealthy.

The Swedish are beautiful is an old prejudice. I think it comes from the fact that there are so few Swedish and if there is at least a couple of stunning females (males, who needs them :D), it is much more convincing than 1000 out of 100 million. Also, I think the notion Hitler referred to as Aryans, the one people who are far superior to others. I think we still have notions like that going around.

The pure breeds have a lot of hereditary diseases like Down syndrome. It's nothing to brag about.

Economic success, lifestyle choices, shoe size... Ugly can't disappear as long as things like intellect are still being selected for. That was my point.

Actually, Lous' statements couldn't be further from the truth. In "beauty" studies, it has been shown that individuals of mixed race (or individuals who have a mixed race look) tend to be rated as more beautiful, than those who don't have an "average" features.

@flake452 In the U.S. the term "asian" is reserved exclusively for East Asians (Chinese, Korean, Japanese, etc.) Iranians, Arabs, Turks, etc. are "Middle Eastern." Strangely enough, those from Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa are categorized as "white" under the US Census.

Louis' mom is Jewish and might be white, so Louis is mixed. Not asian, not white.

@flake452 Jewish is not an "ethnicity"...there are a lot of ethnic groups within it. There are Ashkenazic Jews, Sephardic Jews, and Mizrahi Jews (who are Middle Eastern).

A lot of Israelis are Ashkenazic, which means their recent ancestors were Eastern/Central European, and thus white.

There is no such thing as a pure gene pool. Do the math on your ancestors. Swedes can be supermodels in the states because our standard of beauty is still largely Aryan and muscular, and I can only guess good diet and exercise is more common in their culture.

As a Jew, Lewis should NOT be talking about the melting pot nature of the US being a source of ugliness and about the Swedes being beautiful because their genes are pure. Sounds about as ugly as the same Nazi propaganda that sent millions of his people to their deaths. There are UGLY people of ALL races.
