@shadowcast10 Actually there is no 'correct' spelling of his name... In japanese you write "Pein" you pronounce it as "Pain" which is the meaning of his name. His name is english. In Pains/Peins case his name is the charakters meaning so It's Pain, but no one actually cares, it gets pronounced the same either way, and that's all that matters.

Conclusion: Be quiet you're not too smart or something, (no offense)

Kakashis name for example wasnt translated but just because it was his original name Pain/Pein is just a synonym. You cant compare that. When the writer gave Pain his name he was thinking about the emotion itself.
