Perhaps I am one of the few who loved the movie as much as the series. At least in the movie she is successful and doesn't fail at everything. That is a bit of a relief.
They also changed things. Like Jellineck and Noblet's forbidden love. They weren't involved with each other until the second episode but in the movie they were already together and breaking up on Jerri's first day. And I agree with you about Derick and the dad. They tried but the kid who played Derick tried to hard. No offense to the actor who played Derick but I perfer the old Derick any day. Same with Guy.
I 100% agree with you!!!!!!!!! did you know that the orginal derick was in the halloween episode of Pete and Pete? wow that was really random. and another thing that isnt all that big but for some reason kinda bugged me was how Mr. Noblet was the science teacher instead of the history teacher
I didn't know that about Derrick. I also didn't know that Mr.Noblet was the science teacher. I guess it shows how much I paid attention to this film. Lol. I loved the alocholic line in the first clip.
It's true. At the beginning, the movie was totally hilarious, but later it wasn't THAT funny. However, I enjoyed the movie very much, I found it very very funny. And of course I got in love with Jerri Blank; she's so cool. I wish I could wash some of the TV show episodes. If they are funnier that movie, they must be awesome

The movie was a horrible disappointment. It received an R rating, but the TV show was much more crude and crass...and funnier.

so true!!! i think the people that have never seen the series like the movie and the people that have seen the series hated the movies.

Lol. Yeah! It wouldn' t have been so bad if they wouldn't have changed so much around. Jerri was great! But some of it just fell flat.

so true. like how the actors for Derick and the dad were diffrent.

The movie was funny about halfway through, but then it really lost steam.

I still need to see this one. I'm sure it's just as funny as the tv show, right?
