Bacon vodka is great in Bloody Mary's! How long did you let your bacon sit in the vodka? I would definitely say that I have had it before where it tastes almost burnt, its all in how you cook the bacon I think.
Hey I just tried this recipe I found, if you like infusing liquor you gotta try this. 750mil decent vodka (i used stolichnaya) 1 whole garlic cluster, individually peeled, 1 habenero chili. Dont be afraid of the H word, the vodka seems to kill most of the hotness leaving an amazing hot/soothing experience. mix all together in a 750 mil bottle, cork/cap let sit for 3 days. Pass it on.
I've also tried it. I made and taste it about 1 month ago, because I just found a video in youtube. It is called: Bacon infused vodka
It is amidst in my faovorites. But about the taste I agree with this guy. I tried clearly, and I made a Bloody Mary with the homa made bacon-vodka, non of them was so good, nothing speacial.
