Wow she spoke some truth there, although I don't think it was a coincidence that she referred to him as "independant" twice- it stirs a subconscious link between him and "independant" parties (I.e. the Libertarian Party), which never stand a chance of winning, and on a conscious level it isolates him from the Republican Party (though that isn't so far from the truth).

I read the bills he wrote, and he wrote a bill calling for a federal ban on abortion, identical to Palin. He also is a creationist, a homophobe, and a proud climate change denier just like Palin. He votes no against bills preventing cruelty to animals, like Palin. I read his voting record and he DID vote for the Patriot Act when it was in committee, then voted no in the House.
