I think the best option is to wait for the iPhone 5, Verizon iPhone 4 cannot multitask such as taking a call and serving or downloading an app at the same times and also Verizon iPhone can’t swap calls, do more than a three person conference call like the At&t iPhone 4.

iPhone bluetooth tethering worked for me on my MBP (and even on Windows) when it was first released, but never since a specific update (can't remember which one, 3.1 or something). iPhone's bluetooth is really broken if you ask me.

For all the people asking about PS3's and Xbox360's. Yes, those devices connect to a router just like a laptop or iPad does. The gaming system would find your hotspot and connect to it just as if it was a router. I don't know if it would connect via USB but wireless, yes.

@EdwardJamesThompson I think you use less bandwidth playing video games than for a youtube video, and a youtube video is consistent on it, so i would say it would. Plus Verizon requires an unlimited data play so you wont run out of data, just make sure its plugged in the xbox or ps3 to charge it at the same time
