@WhiteRain74 its not a short walk, it was hospital policy that they wheel you down in a wheel chair. sooo, yeah.

I notice on TV/YT vids than in America, when leaving the hospital, the mother is always pushed out in a wheelchair. Is that and American legal thing? Here in the UK we dont do this. In the picture at the end you look like THE proudest mummy there ever was - cute!

Such a great moment to capture on video! Its weird how different countries have different processes. Here my sons tags were checked then we could leave. I carried him out in my arms with no wheelchair or midwife to take me to the car.

@chatabox0girl I'm here in the US & my son's tags were checked too, i also got no wheelchair or anyone walking us out. Wish i did have one though i was so dizzy from the hemorraging i could barely walk. The hospital i delivered at was horrible though.

@chatabox0girl I don't think there is any one way things are done, even in the same country, it's different from hospital to hospital. I didn't have to have a wheel chair, I just chose to because it was a long walk (big hospital) lol
