Sean Hannity has never claimed to be balanced, ever. He has always identified himself as a conservative, and while I've never seen him distort anything like what that video showed (which, if you noticed, was uploaded by a Fox hater), it doesn't represent Fox News as a whole by any means whatsoever. And I don't believe for a minute anything that comes out of Politifact, as there have been numerous flaws in their "truths." Nobody can win this, as nobody's perfect, but Fox is the most balanced.

The problem with Fox news is that they don't know what they are saying or they are just making things up. There was actually a study which showed that people who watch fox news are less informed than people who don't watch the news at all.

If you think that Fox viewers are misinformed than the rest of everyone (which they AREN'T, the poll you were referring to was only done on New Jersey residents, which doesn't reflect EVERY Fox viewer there is), then what is a better alternative to Fox News?

@mnfdrums As for alternatives, I don't really know by television standards. Sometimes what I will do is that i will switch back and forth between channels like Fox, CNN, and MSNBC, and if i notice any inconsistencies, then I will look it up on the internet. From what I see most of the time, Fox news is mistaken and the other channels are correct. That is just from what I have seen. And no, I am not a liberal or a conservative. Both sides just argue with each other like children.

We're very different, because I notice more mess-ups on MSNBC than Fox, especially when Al Sharpton or Lawrence O'Donnell are on, as opposed to O'Reilly or Hannity. Sean Hannity has never claimed to be balanced, ever. He has always identified himself as a conservative, and while I've never seen him distort anything like what that video showed (which, if you noticed, was uploaded by a Fox hater), it doesn't represent Fox News as a whole by any means whatsoever. And I don't believe for a minute anything that comes out of Politifact, as there have been numerous flaws in their "truths." Nobody can win this, as nobody's perfect, but Fox is the most balanced.

Sometimes what I will do is that i will switch back and forth between channels like Fox, CNN, and MSNBC, and if i notice any inconsistencies, then I will look it up on the internet. From what I see most of the time, Fox news is mistaken and the other channels are correct. That is just from what I have seen. And no, I am not a liberal or a conservative. Both sides just argue with each other like children.

Had you even bothered to just glance at my profile on here, pretty much required when calling out a country, you would have seen that I'm Canadian. Which, aside from not being North American, has weathered the storm the best among Western Nations (despite our heavy economic ties with you guys). So, as a Canadian who's country is not drowning in debt; I will keep laughing at you.

Though trying to claim credit for Canadian achievements could potentially be where you get the idea of economic and social prosperity.

As for WW2. It started in 1939, you didn't enter until December 1941. Germany was defeated early 1945. So yes, halfway through the war.

@carlindelco Let me spell it out for you; WW2 lasted 72 months. However, Germany was defeated 69 months in (Japan is a different matter because you were attacked by them; so you joining to fight someone killing you doesn't count). America didn't officially join the war until month 28 and didn't make their first German attack until 30 months in. That's 44% of the war; almost half (As I said). And I proved you wrong by pointing out things like your deficit/U.S.=/=North America

@carlindelco Citing a year is giving inaccurate information. Just as Pi is not 3, nor is it four. It's 3.1415926...... etc. Similarily: joining a war at the end of the year and not fighting until the beginning of the following year does not count has having been in the war for a year. You didn't fight until 42, a declaration in December of 1941 after being attacked does not give you credit for the entire year. That's why when you advance past basic math, they use decimal places.

They're staging a real life "Wag the Dog" in Qatar. Al-Jazeera is Qatar owned and Qatar is owned by the UK. Russia Today interviewing Gaddafi's "captured" son Saif Al-Islam sent shockwaves throughout the media establishment embarrassing Al-Jazeera and solidified itself as just another propaganda war machine.

Al-Jazeera is the least biased news organisation out there. They will show both sides of any conflict in their nasty, hypocritical glory. They will show images that have not censored for taste, because the truth is distasteful. Fox - and most other western news organisations, practice heavy self-censorship and are biased whether they mean to be or not, simply because most people cannot bear to watch the truth while sitting on their couch in their living rooms.

The international branch of ALJ is indeed a good news deliverer, pretty much neutral on things.
The arabic branch of ALJ is CLEARLY leaning towards arab positions and muslim supremacy.

Most western news organisations clearly lean towards a western agenda (Fox is not the only one guilty of this!) and are openly critical of those nations with a different moral/political/social/religious stance. So why should Arabic news for an Arabic, predominantly muslim audience, be any different?

@austenbosten Al Jazeera covers all Middle Eastern events brilliantly, not because of the stupid reason you said but because it has fully equipped studios in almost every Arab country. And for your information, as an international broadcaster, many of its hosts and journalists are Caucasian, it's not an Arab propaganda arm as you seem to be inferring, but an international network that happens to be based in Qatar but employs staff from all over the world.

I know many Al-Jizzera has many whites..so does RT, but that doesn't change the fact that they are blatantly Anti-Semitic and Anti-American in their coverage. If you honestly believe that there is such thing as objectivity in journalism you must be a pretty naive and lousy "international broadcaster". Every time a reporter makes a case, emotions will always enter the fray.

It would be horrible if that were really the case, but in reality there isn't even a scintilla of anti-semitic coverage on Al-Jazeera. Of course a lot of it takes an anti-Israel and anti-Zionist stance, but don't lazily refer to that as anti-semticism, because that is not what it is at all.
