It's always almost too close to call every year. Some of us Houston people are getting a little too cocky.

they are too big and their sound is way too brassy and they are blasting. you can barely hear the woodwinds at all unless they have a featured song. they are good, but not great or excellent. germantown and munford are much better. smaller but better - quality not quantity.

I'm from Houston High School and I personally respect Munford High School. I think they did diserve it though! You guys roll your feet well and must have practiced forever, so good job!

Houston:92.57

Munford:92.575...in other words 5/1000 of a point...1/100 of a mistake...we definitely did our best and munford beat us so i agree with skater838...munford is a very fine band

Wow someone said we beat Munford by .5 here. may be true. But last night at South haven we lost to them by i think .4 or something? And thats because they didnt use guard/drumline in the overall (our drumline and guard both beat munfords). But hopefully that loss gets more people to realize you have to work to win.

Talking will hopefully become less of an issue as will not rolling our feet -_-

its a rip of phantom regiment 05'. this is just a wanna be drum corps high school band that isnt any good. they sound like they're playing straws and the drumline makes me sick to my stomach. i dont see how they won the championship or the drum award.

You can't judge anything musically by this video. It's too close to the sideline and it picks up individuals rather than the full ensemble. I heard them several times in person and they sounded nothing like what you hear on this recording.

GHS has 1/3 the number of band members.

But we sound much better, no offense.

The biggest problem with the HHS band is that with so many people, the sound turns crummy. The marching is very well done, though.

You guys are also very lucky to be endowed with those 15 or 16 pit members. We sure aren't!
