Hey, am I the only one to think that SPR is chock-o-block full of tactical errors? The American sniper was far more visible & vulnerable than the German. Great film, anyhow.

I'm a left handed shooter and it would suck to be a sniper because left handed bolt actions were extreamly scarce during WWII because almost everyone was right handed so if you did qualify to be a sniper in a squad you were mostly issued a rifle with the bolt on the right side which means you need to make every shot count because if you miss if you need to cross over to pull the bolt not only does that take time but also you move your crosshairs and have to re-aline them

it is possible to shoot at a scope and hit with pin point accuraccy but you can not kill the shooter. the lenses in the scope deflect the shot.

MODERN scopes have more lenses than WW2 era scopes, 2x as many, back then it was more likely to kill the sniper through the scope but like it is now a days, it is still a one in a million shot and mostly luck
