I have a brother on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and it is tradition for the members to feed the missionaries in their area. Before my brother left, a friend showed us how to make these out of index cards, and he was going to use them as thank you gifts to those families. Sadly, we couldn't find out how to make them before he left, but that is okay! I will just send a bunch of them as a gift!

I just made the shirt card, Dawn, and I enjoyed it immensely! Tying the knot for the tie worked great, too. I added a pocket with a greeting sticking out! "So cute," as you would say.... I also altered one for a "girlie" card. Decorated it with lace, adding buttons and eyelet trimmings. Great fun!

This is a great origami shirt - you can add buttons, bow tie & pockets. I have made smaller ones but this is unusual cos' it makes a card. Thanx so much Dawn !!
