  • what alarm system did you bought mate?

  • DOes it drain ur battery

  • look i know it possible but the revs are way out and you havent got you key in witch you would need to turn the ign on for fuel pump to come on soo

  • @foxracing279 noting will cause the Clutch needs 2 be pressed I'n order 2 move the bike with gears

  • what happens if its in gear?

  • People need to stop complaining about the remote start gadget. Its just another feature you can put in your bike or car. Its not fake and its not dangerous as olisito said before. and where did you get your info about warming up your bike is a bad thing hahaha. your saying You cant let it warm up? and you cant ride it cold coz it wont go?...so wheres the happy medium ? i dont wanna start my bike and count the seconds before i leave haha.

  • how'd you hook it up to bypass the immobilizer key?

  • no use for it

but do i want it.......ooooo yeah

  • is it entirely useful..probably not.

    Do I want one...yes

  • what if you left your bike in gear :P

  • its fuel injected , it wont start

  • What alarm do you have?

  • thats kewl

  • Very trick, but a little pointless

  • Not really. Having one is good for cold weather. You could be inside all toasty and warm, but the moment you step outside to start your bike, you'd get all cold. So, you start the bike from inside and only go out when you know the bike is all warmed up ready to go. That is one of the main purposes of a remote starter.

Other than that, it just looks cool when you can start your bike from a few feet away. ;)

  • When you ride a bike, you will get cold, you know the air running over you and stuff? hahahah

  • You think?! I know about that, I was actually talking about warming a bike up without having to go outside. :P Being able to start your bike without having to step outside is quite useful.

The only way to fend off the cold while riding, is to get a good bike jacket. ;)

  • @TheKnightsShield

Actually if you do some research on the subject you will see that you actually do not want to warm up your bike and let it sit idling for very long at all actually as it promotes carbon build up inside which is not a good thing. You are to start it, let it run for mybe 10-30 seconds which is the time it usually takes to get your gear on and then simply ride it gently until the temp is in normal operating range.

  • If it doesn't make it faster or lighter, its a waste of time. But thats just my opinion. Each to there own really. I suppose it is a neat trick like

  • you wouldn't be riding if it's too cold to step outside

  • @TheKnightsShield good luck tryna start it cold without the choke

  • nice bike, i am planing to get a remort starter too. i would like to know whether you wired it from splicing from ignition and starter switch wires or wires from near ecu.

  • sick...lovely bike though

  • Can someone tell me where to put the remote start wire please do i wire it direct to the starter motor or to the relay?

  • starter most of the time

  • c00l :D very nice R1 u got there m8 :)

  • i managed to hot wire my bike even tho its got a factory immobilizer on it 03 R6. I got to the stage where u can just hit starter on the remote (powers EFI and all Aux instrument) but you just have to walk over to the bike and hit the start button. The starter wire on the alarm gives a 12v current for 1sec but when i spliced it with the start button wire.. ntohing happens :( how did you do it? greatly appriciated if you can give me some tips

  • Nice gadget, what's the purpose of that system?

  • The alarm system I bought included that feature, so I decided to wire it in.

  • Hey im wiring up my R6 yammi and if you could give me tips on how you wired up the starter function on your R1. Did you splice the starter wire from the alarm to the starter button on the bike? or direct to your signal wire on your starter motor ?

  • Hey bro... what alarm did you got?

  • @gmax876 to get the bike stolen easier

  • If you didn't know the bike won't start if its in gear. Its a factory safety. I used that safety and wired the remote start. You shouldn't speak of something you don't know.

  • The worst Remote start unit is Crimestopper.. They DO NOT HONOR WARRANTY!!! They want you to take to one of their dealers for fixing their faulty unit...

    DOn't buy CRIMESTOPPER

  • ha ha... you're not foolin' me.

  • you know they have the on cars too...its just a simple device =D

  • k jodoe notice how when it starts the tail lights turn on thats how u can tell its real

  • nice:)

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice

  • very sweet!

  • it's funny

  • I've seen this done on my mate's moped, he has an alarm fitted to it so when someone touches it, it's voice actived. This IS possible! but no need for all those wires following from behind!

  • bull shit... there is another bike behind him... notice how his hands arnt' visable when he revs the throttle.

  • Haa haa... if you say so. Its not hard to wire up a remote start on a bike. Anywho, mine works like a charm ;)

  • on my kickstart moped it is:(

  • you're just plain retarded...

  • @Canonsnob why cant people just simply keep their negative comments to themselves ?

you are wasting your time by coming and watching the video and then commenting. remote start can be done very easily on a bike as compared to a car. i have remote start on my car but not my bike ( a 06 r1) because i dont think i would use it.

  • thats pimp
