But if Bumble Bee got killed off and Hot Shot still lives then the obvious question is: Why was Bumble Bee the "main" Autobot in the Micheal Bay movies, also a character in the War of Cybertron games but Hot Shot is no where to be found?

the exact reformating is megatron/galvatron...thundercr­acker/scourge...shrapnel/sweep­1...kickback/sweep2...bombshel­l/sweep3...skywarp/cyclonus. their was only supposed to be if you notice armada is nowhere to be seen as the others approach the ship. its only galvatron, cyclonus, scourge, 3sweeps, so cyclonus and his armada is scourge and the sweeps who can clone themselves just like the insecticons could. also anyone else wonder why starscream didnt try to run or dodge galvatrons blast.
