The marth player blew it. With a 1 stock lead, I think I could probably beat Ren with Marth (my 3rd best char.) He made a few poor decisions towards the end that cost him that battle. Kudos to Ren though who dug in and raised his level.

If you want to be a successful Ike user, utilize his side - B attack, which can go easily into his triple A combo or smash attacks. Also, use counter and his standard B move. Counter works when he's coming at you, and standard B, when released at the precise time, can help you when your opponent is falling down to attack you.

Side B is only for movement and recovery. If you spam it you will fail. BAir is more like it.

i actgurally learnt something the other day with marth.

if you use dancing blade and hold up or down when you do the third and forth swing, not onld does the colour change, but you get a diffrent attack.
