@SgtMcal Evangelion is already on the list. Ergo Proxy.... that will work. Full Metal? Not sure since it's a different reality about our world and it doesn't end.
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0! Its not a end of the World anime necessarily but it shows the effects of earthquakes in a dramatic and intimate manner and i believe is worthy of a review this new year.
