  • It's probably something in the video card, however by now you probably got it fixed.

  • thats weird

    have u tried restarting

    if you have

    thn i would call apple

  • MY macbook just starts laggin. so i need to turn off my comp with the button. What is the problem with my mac? what shuld i do

  • that looks like a failing graphics card, take that to the apple genius bar right away

  • It's a FUCKING MACINTOSH!!!!!!!

  • Interesting problem... the people in the retail stores are pretty understanding. If you bring it in and show them they should replace it if it's under warranty. If not, back up your data and try a reinstall. Don't worry it's nothing to be afraid of.

  • Apple Will replace it with a new Macbook. No question ask. [Under Warranty]

  • rofl this is a common issue with mac dead screen scene, i never had that on my dell pc* time for teh old switchorama small fry, goodl uck trying to replace it when it goes haywire! i heard they charge ya big time!

  • dude i got this on my imac the graphics card on the logic board is messed up. if u have it under warranty its free but if not its $650!!!

  • idk u should send it to apple because if your mac crashed then u got a problem

  • Macbooks have tons of video problems! This is really common and your not alone!

  • i just got a macbook a very beautiful computer but i put in my speakers and the sound cable is now lodged in the headphone port and i have no sound so i sent it to apple and they said they could try to get it out but if they don't then im have to pay 600 bucks so they can put in a new logic board and if they get it out then i have to pay 100 bucks apple care sucks what a waste of 249 bucks

  • u beat around your computer

  • macs are awesome

  • stupid

  • you suck

  • gay

  • O-K... Yes visuses, spyware, bluescreens, bloated windows and the occasional driver issue are reasons PC's rule!

  • ur mom sucks my cock

  • yep shes pretty good aat it

  • Its probably the GMA 950 causing the tearing and artifacts. Try a PRAM reset and if that doesn't help call AppleCare

  • its a probally with your screen some apple macs have dodgy screens and some have dodgy batterys but they are still better than pc s send it back

  • I used to have an AGP geforce 6800xt for my pc and it was artifacting while I was playing games, it was very similar to your problem. This, unfortunately is not something that you can remedy, you have to replace the graphics card. It mainly affected me when I was playing GTA San Andreas. If you have Windows installed, you should try playing that game. Pc and Mac hardware (if yours is an Intel Mac) is actually almost Identical.

  • your fan is loud

  • what is up witht he flashing is it your camera??

  • Not quite sure, it's like this in my unboxing video for my camcorder. It's some weird compression thing going on.

  • Its gotta be a problem with Adobe Flash player, try updating the flash driver and also try using firefox or another browser. Make sure you have all the Safari updates and the flash updates cause the burton website the exact page you were looking at was completely flash based. I have 10.5 with Safari 3.0.4 and Flash 9.0 hope this helps you.

  • ya try reinstalling video graphics, but go ahead and call apple

  • hey man i would definetely take it in to the genuis bar at Apple have em take a look (it's free just set up a date and time) also by anychance do you use a lot of 3rd party apps? if you want to try to fix this yourself either reinstall Tiger fully delete all your files and reinstall it or create another admin or account on your Mac see if that works

  • well, i donno whats wrong with the mac, but just a heads up, whatever camera you were using to film yourself, every once in a while it would flash black.

  • yeah, it's very weird. it's done that on a couple other videos. i don't understand. maybe its ANOTHER problem with my mac.

  • wait, did u use a camera 2 film this video or use a mirror 2 show us the mac

  • my sony hdr hc5 camera

  • ok, probably wont work, but playing around with the system preferances might do something, like change any screen setting and maybe itll reset the screen display

  • If you don't have applecare, you're screwed.

  • obviously its just the software, dont freak out lol.

if it were your display, the entire screen would be doing that, it wouldnt be limited to the section with the characters in it.

  • Stinger...hasn't happened to my macbook.. try leopard and if that doesn't work eat apple's head off on the phone!

    demand a new 1 :D

  • Software problem.

  • thats really messed up....

soz i duno how to help u, i am guna take my macbook in the screen constantly flickers dark then bright all the time, drives me crazy

  • If you've bought the computer in the last year (which from your videos in past I assume you have) than you have apple care to go get it checked out at the store.

I have had problems with mine but not this one. I personally think its a software thing. Maybe backup and reinstall tiger or just go get yourself a nice new copy of Leopard. :-)

    Hope you get it fixed.

  • do u have apple care?

  • hey

i think you should try to reinstall the OS

    or just buy leopard

    hope it helps
