Most certainly NOT too fast. "Sehr rasch" = "very fast." And I think "rasch" has even a more aggressive quality than "schnell," though I'm not sure on that. Also, very difficult to impart the poise and aristocratic qualities of Rubinstein's playing to Schumann w/out losing the expressiveness. A great performance all around.

Well because the tempo is supposed to be "sehr rasch" (wich means very fast)
