Fuck world trade, fuck seattle police, fuck the government that is trying to make everyone like a herd of cattle, thats what they want even now, CONTROL, wake up people! your rights are being slowly taken away
I have very little respect for the way the chief and Washington government officials handled this riot, they violated protesters that were non violent, gassing them, arresting them, pushing them, innocent people got hurt , even ones that we NOT protesting, and just trying to get home safely, peoples CIVIL and HUMAN rights were terribly violated!
wow, I'm guessing you weren't in Seattle during the WTO riots. The police started used tear gas and such because there was rioting and people destroying businesses. Anarchists from other states trucked in to make as much trouble as possible, coming fully equiped with gas masks, they started the trouble. Were people being unjustly attacked? I don't think so.
I was there and that's not how it went down at all. See the movie "Battle In Seattle" which is coming out soon. The protesters in the streets were heroes and the police were abusive.
zzzzyyyyxxx: The riot police were indiscriminately attacking everyone. How is that not unjust? The anarchists were breaking windows, while the police were hurting people; keep this in mind.
In any case, I fully support what the black bloc did. If you aren't enraged by the amount of violence, poverty, and hatred in the world and the contribution to it by powerful institutions such as the state, you are either blinded by ignorance or hate.
I love the video clips from WTO, how often do you get to see a group of protesting white people get unjustly attacked by local law enforcement in America?!?! 5/5 stars
