When people say "genius" about Brian a lot of people really dont quite get the point at where he is musically. Let me sum it up for you. He started playing piano at age two, had hit singles before some of you were even in kindergarten, and his tracks revitalized the dance scene in UK. He produced the famous stutter edit, scored movies and video games, has six studio albums and many compilations with other artists. He's not just a "singer". Show some respect. So to say the least I'm at least fairly familiar with the musical catalogs of the groups you mentioned. BT is certainly heavily influenced by that type of music, but I think to call it blatant imitation is pretty far off the mark. This dude is about as original as they come. Go listen to "Flaming June", "Tao of the Machine", "Rose of Jericho" and check out the diversity.

But if you really are intersted in many different types of music, check out some of the stuff his albums "Movement in Still Life" or "Emotional Technology". Everything on those albums from pop, to electronic dance, to alt rock, and hip hop. Also, BT is just one guy, Brian Transeau. The other people in the video are just there for show. BT does all the music himself.

@ShoreScout If you liked this song (which leans more towards rock and roll roots) the best out of the others you might try "Forget Me", "Circles", "Never Gonna Come Back Down" (his only real radio single which is 10 years old), or "Satellite". I'd also suggest you check out the full album cut of this song which is far superior to this radio / video edit. Just throwing those out if you're interested. If you love 'em, great! If not, it's no big deal.
