  • que recuerdos de mi adolecencia en lima.

  • This is exactly the song that got me into pop music back in 1982 when I was thirteen.

Really a special video for me in that sense.

  • OMG ! feeling like a piece of machinery..I dont believe what you say to my...... my beautiful Shenna , we miss you so much , here in Chile.

  • Didin't annyone noticed Rene in that video ;)

  • @grzegorzpiaseczny - It surely looked like him.

  • que buena música !!!!!!

  • I was just out of high school and at a bar with a friend of mine. This video was on and always freaked me out for some reason.. It was so 80's...perfect.

  • luv when i see the old 80's video's... me and sis used to watch them on channel 61 (back in da days) in phoenix,az... and half the time reception was screwed-up..we did'nt care we loved the music....

  • Her best, apart from "You Could Have Been With Me". AWESOME! Thank you! A beauty singing a gorgeous song!

  • WOW!!! Wonderful!!! There are not words enough for describing her beauty voice & face.

    Greetings from Mexico!!!

  • Sheena & Madonna were the 2 greatest female pop singers of the 80's!

  • Yeah, Sheena sure-but then she moved to the USA.

  • mi mama escuchaba esta cancion cuando era niña y desde entonces me encanta esta cancion

  • great song!

  • I LOVE this song! THIS IS MY FAVORITE SHEENA EASTON EASTON SONG! I didn't know that it had a video. AWESOME! I heart Sheena!

  • damn, i remember this video/song. Havent heard or seen it since early 80s.

  • Love it. Thanks for posting.

  • This song was heavily played in a Guatemalan video program, but not on the radio, during 1982. She was very popular in Latin America during those days. Later she made a sucessfull spanish album in 1984.

  • It's got a very interesting track that I never heard until finding this video. It so new wave rock, almost ska and very untypical of her more mainstream pop sound. Pretty good but not a favorite.

  • thank you for this post...love the old Sheena stuff. She is just golden.

  • this song reminds me of fast times at ridgemont high. Guess I'm feeling sorry I missed out on some great stuff.

  • I met her last night.. but she didn't sing this one

  • where were you?

  • Viña del Mar, Chile

  • This is one of the best Sheena Easton recording and one of the best 80's tracks, it represents a forgotten sound and if you listen carefully to the lyrics you will see the allerogy of a girl in a relationship and a girl trapped the 9 to 5 (excuse the pin), routine, un appreciated! She shows fabulous vocal range - ENJOY!!! Maybe the transition between Sheena the bond singer and Sheena the new romantic was just to much for the public?!?! SHAME, the critics loved it!

  • You seem to know Sheena's attributes. That is great, she is a voice to be known and appreciated. In spite of her obvious beauty, she actually has a voice.

  • she had so many brilliant songs but not many top 40's .sheena should have had at least 10 top 10's

  • totally agree wit u on that

  • Never understood why this never became a big hit for her. It was/is a good song from that era.

  • I always wonder why this song was a single, not bad but the album Madness, Money And Music had better selections that could have been singles, just as well I still like the song.

  • Not one of my favorite songs from Miss Sheena, but great just the same...

  • In my book this is a total smash from the summer of 1982. Great thanks for posting!

  • this was good enough to go at least top 3.lol.

  • 25 years ago I watched this video, I'm :-D to watch it again

  • This song wasn't successful and received modest radio airplay on top 40 radio. I remember her performing this on Solid Gold. Sheena does have a great recording voice.

  • She sounds even better live.

  • is that madness?

  • she is a great song, sang by a hot sheena easton, can this women ever look bad? I dont think so.

  • new wave galore! What a beautiful voice.

  • I like this song! Always beena guilty pleasure!! Being that this song came out the year I was born, I never even knew it was a single let alone a video for it! I was so glad to find this on Youtube! Thanks for sharing!

And yeah she had better songs, but this was pop cheese, so perfect for the 80's.

  • Man, can you tell EMI was thinking Kim Wilde was their future at this point? Strange choice for the lead single off of "Money Madness and Music", it stalled at #57 and sent her into the clutches of Greg Mathieson (hot off of the Laura Branigan singles) for her next effort.

  • kita kore

  • What???

  • Who talked her into this song being the lead single off her 3rd American lp. From the fall of 1982...her had better songs on the album.

  • The production sounds dated, but her voice sounds so cool.

  • teenage years of mine
