That's pretty cool Justin! And awesome behind the scenes video with the film splicing! I didn't realize how BIG those machines are for turning the film reels! But man with all that power, just think of the cool movies you could splice together! Haha!
Yah that'd be pretty cool, but it'd take a lot of breaking down and splicing together of different reels from different awesome movies. It would create a lot of mayhem though LOL
NO! Man, I could never own one of those machines. They're probably a good 10000 dollars, mabye more. Don't second guess your career in the film industry, unless you plan on working with film prints in theatres.

I'm way too incompetent to do anything like this. I'd screw everything up for sure.
studentdotcom 2 years ago
You'd screw something up forsure jeff, but you'd get the hang of it eventually and become like me. I screwed up a lot, but look at where i am now ^_^

Dang...I'd be like "uhh I can't do this, I don't wanna break everyones movie" LOL
alwaystextback 2 years ago
I did break a lot of movies while trying to take them apart. I remember snaping the film in two while taking it apart LOL
Voldey 2 years ago
that is so confusingggg.
how many films did you mess up while learning? :P
SincerelyKimmi 2 years ago
I think I only ever screwed up one. But that was taping it out of frame. I screwed up more films taking them apart. That was always fun XD
Voldey 2 years ago
That was interesting! I hope they don't die out completely, but everything has it's pros and cons.

Everything does have its pros and cons. Change is always good though

Oh so I am guessing that is not how they put the Jonas Brothers' lovely 3Dness on the screen....? They seem like the oh press play type...digital? :S
LuckyNumb3r7 2 years ago
Correct. If it says 3-d or DLP it means that its being played in digital. Simply meaning its downloaded onto a computer through a hard drive
Voldey 2 years ago
lol, I wasn't aware that we still use film in cameras
thatzak 2 years ago
Yup, we still do. Although we may not for much longer. Its really fun to work with film =[
