That way you won't get hurt but that's why depression is so bad. It drags us under and makes us people we aren't but when we enable it and say oh no one understands us but we don't make an effort to be understood. We just use that as an excuse not to talk about our feelings we all have struggles and through those we relate to one another if we try.
