Zire 31 is the best PDA ever built by Palm. I have tried Zire 72, Zire 22, Treo 650, Treo 680 and Palm TX and they are all SLOWER to execute commands (e.g. a button press) than the Zire 31, even thought they have faster CPUs. So I am still using my Zire 31. Dissappointed by Palm.
If you compare the Zire 31 and the Zire 22 side by side, first check out how long they take to boot after you press the reset button. Zire 31 boots in under 3 seconds, while the Zire 22 will take around 1 minute (with the same programs installed etc). Good luck!
TCPMP on z22 works fine? I have all the palms but Im lazy to test lol

How comfortably can one read from it (if it supports PDF ^_^). THX
Karadum 4 years ago
It doesn't support pdf.
Even if u install a pdf reader.
U wont get any other files than pdb and prc on it.
With the free eReader u can nicely read pdbs or pdf files convertet to pdb.
Search for "ABC Amber PDF Converter".
Its the only software that can convert pdf to pdb.
But u can simply copy the text of a pdf in acrobat reader, paste it into OpenOffice writer and finally save as pdb.
Works pretty good !

Thx,only that some of my PDF are scans, not only text files so those would be uncopiable :(
