@GFXMaNiAK I'm not sure about RAM, but I _do_ know it takes a bit more power from your graphics card than not using it... It adds gfx-effects. If I'm running a very demanding game (graphically) at maximum settings and THEN apply EnbSeries, my framerates drop at least a little. Framerates = how fast the game runs basically... or, in how many pictures per second it draws the action on your screen; the more demanding the game the less FPS/Frames Per Second you get. Just in case you didn't know...

@DougHeffernan2011 tesnexus.com has most every mod you could wish for in Oblivion. Try seraching for "HGEC" or "EXNEMS BODY REPLCAER". Also look up "Ren's Beauty Pack". Tutorials on how to apply mods (which by the way is very easy) can be found in the readme file of most mods. All of the information you need is posted at tesnexus.com

I just don't see how people think that the "after ENB" scenes are better than the before shots. Every example here highlights my main problem with ENB - that it makes everything look like you've twisted the contrast knob until it snapped of in your hand, and most games it looks like you've done the same with the colour saturation knob as well. It turns most areas of shadow completely black, and blows out the highlights - often to the point of making it visually painful, or even unplayable.

One more question for the group. I'm using ENB with Flight Sim 2004. When I fly after launching the game, and hit Shift F12, I get a huge increase in frame rate, at least double. I'm assuming I'm turning OFF ENB. But I have read that ENB is off when I start a flight. Confused. Help appreciated.

I don't understand what the d3d9_26.dll and d3d9_40.dll files are for? I am assuming they are different lighting effects. Do I remove the _26 and _40 endings and overwrite the d3d9.dll to get different lighting settings in d3d9? Sorry for my confusion, but this isn't clear to me in the instructions.

ENB does not do god rays as a normal effect, so I was wondering how they were added in the fallout 3 screenshot. Also, I have made some custom Palette textures for certain racing games if you use any of them. Lots of people don't utilize the palette texture function, even though it is a very powerful way of improving graphics with ENB.

It's still cool but you can set lower ENB settings for smoother and more realistic performance. I've been edit the codes for a lot of games and I avoid too much overbright effect.

@ErSZol Actually, it adds Ambient Occlusion, motion blur, focus blur, shaders, and more. Many games up till this day do not have this support. Btw, you have to configure it so that things are activated.
