I hate Scarlett. Bravo for saying the Empress has no clothes and that's the only reason directors cast her. The platitudes I've heard about SJ's acting (and it's always from straight men) are such total and complete bullshit. Marilyn Monroe was a great bombshell actress. She was just a great actress period. SJ is a dumb dumb boring and dumb actress.

@LiloPelakai Look, Marilyn had greatness, she was a brilliant comic actress as well as serious. if you don't believe me watch The Misfits, one of the single greatest moments in motion picture history is Marilyn Monroe having a meltdown in the desert. It is absolutely heartbreaking. In contrast, watch Scarlett have a meltdown on screen. She looks like a petulant child having a hissy fit. No comparison. Who cares who blew who? Marilyn was married to Arthur Miller. Scarlett? Ryan Reynolds.

You know, most impressionists really do like most of the people they perform. Acting comes from a point of truth and honesty, and you need to discover what there is inside yourself that is like the character. Then to make it funny, you need to exaggerate. I think this is a nice impersination and not at all hateful.
