Driver Bruce Jacobi finished 12th in #37 (my grandma's car). These cars were so cool, man! I've got stills in my Facebook profile photo album. facebookdotcom/kjusa
I remember watching a NASCAR race live on TV from around this time in which a member of a pit crew was killed by an explosion while they were playing a high pressure water hose on the tires. Does anyone else remember that?
I agree totally. There is no way a race cars could look more vicious and so totally awesome. These times are forever gone. You know its pure raw power when you push that Mercury 200mph+ at Daytona straightaway.
