Those are some rugged shotguns. Built like a tank and chromed inside and out to handle countless 3 1/2" steel loads and harsh Russian Winters. A very reliable "working man's shotgun". US Sporting Goods Co. has just started selling Baikals again. I'm going to get the synthetic version. There's also a new camoflage version. I'd rather have the wooden stock but USSG doesn't sell it. I guess I can order the wood furniture for it from someone else.
