Production wise Lasers is more pop than Hip Hop, but lyrically the album is a classic!!!...Besides, none of Lupe's albums have been straight up Hip Hop production wise...It works for him...The quality of the music is still GREAT, and the message gets through LOUD AND CLEAR...

However, none of them before Lasers were pop either. They were alternative hip hop that was innovative, and done very well.

I my opinon he was able to get some really good lyrics in Lasers too but with a like you said catchy beat... anyway I think Lasers was a super awesome album and I can wait for this one! Keep on bringing meaningfull rap songs to the people, it's a dying art and not many people still do it, Lupe and T.I perhaps? Keep up the good work!

Still a decent album, but its his worst of the 3 albums. Dont know what I expect from F&L II, but it will most likely be better than Lasers
