an inocent mistake? come on Geithner haven't paid a tax since 2000. I just arrived US years ago and I know every US citizen or resident have to pay taxes even working overseas.

Didnt Mr. Geithner ever hear Mr. Biden's interview with GMA in which he said paying taxes was patriotic. If Mr. Biden was right than by his own definition the nominee for Treasury Secretary isn't patriotic. Doesn't the Treasury Secretary oversee the IRS? Hope Mr. Geithner studies the thousands of pages of the tax code before his hearing so he can better understand the rules. Also, why the closed door hearing today? Is this the new transparent government I heard about during the campaign?
