I absolutely adore this movie and completely can relate to Hedwig. i tried showing this to my family but all they see this as was a movie about a transgender. I'm sad that they are unable to see the deeper meanings and emotional depth that are present here.

Wow...this is truly ridiculous. The "origin of love" is that we were stuck - back to back - with somebody else, and then "Zeus" split us apart with lightning bolts? I am so pleased to say that love has MUCH BETTER beginnings than this!!! The real origin of love is that the TRUE God - the God of the Bible - created us in His image - and created us as male and female so that we can someday have an appropriate partner to commit to in marriage, to love selflessly, and to build a family with.

I'm not sure why you think I'm "using God in hateful arguments" by simply telling you what He really did, according to His Word. I'm also not sure about why you claim to be a Christian, when you insist on making up stories about God. The Bible makes it clear that Christians submit to God - not lie about Him.

My personal beliefs don't have any bearing on the topic, but I do believe in Jesus Christ, the Messiah, the One True God. That does not mean that everyone in the world does. No, they may not be our soulmates but they were there, in the beginning, and we hopefully guide each other on our way back to our other half. Generally it's fear or wishful thinking when we see someone who comes close, and we cling to it. But sometimes....just sometimes, we're lucky enough to stumble into our other halves. Why is this beautiful song flagged as having inappropriate content? There are no swear words.
