At chastain they have to end by 11:00, no exceptions as it is in the middle of a neighborhood. I've seen shows that run a few minutes over and they literally pull the plug.
You got it! I thought the audience was real good, but they ended up not playing When the Levee Breaks as an encore. So only 3 encore songs. But the concert was amazing!
Yeah I know! I have a bunch of recording from their tour so far and most of the time they play it...so I was waiting in anticipation and then the lights at the amphitheater went on...even though amazing night I will never forget! I assume you have been to one of the gigs?
Yup, I saw them in CT in early June. Probably the best concert I've ever been to (it was only my 5th concert all together though). They didn't do When the Levee Breaks there, either.
Nice! I saw Plant at the same venue 3 years ago, and he always puts on an amazing show! Glad you liked it just as much as I did! I would like to catch them again on this tour!
I would love to see another one of their shows too... if only I had the money ;) They closest they're playing to CT is in PA, and I'd have to take a train which would cost like $70 and then buy a ticket (as you can see I thought this out already). I need a job! (I'm only 17, and I'm looking for one :P)
I was at the Atlanta show, and I had my fingers crossed for them to play When the Levee Breaks. I meant to yell for them to play it, but after giving Alison her flowers I kind of lost all rational thought for a while. =/ Lol. I'm hoping they'll record When the Levee Breaks and put it on the second album that's supposedly going to get made. Or put it on the live DVD, if that actually gets made.
You gave her the flowers she was holding at the end? :) From what I've heard, they are filming two nights for the dvd, might only be one night though. Too bad they dropped Hey Hey What Can I Do early on, that would have been amazing!
Yep! My little sister and I wrote her a letter, stuck it in a bouquet of roses and gave it to her. ^_^ They've actually canceled the second show that was going to be filmed, and the official word is that the remaining show isn't going to be filmed either, though to my knowledge, nobody has said for sure that there won't be a DVD. Maybe they're keeping the footage from those big screens at each show and hoping to make a DVD from that? *fingers crossed*
If you see my cell phone light at 0:10, that is me right there or not

Yeah they don't play it at every concert. I'm wondering what makes them play it on one night and not on another.

Aside from keeping your fingers crossed ( as I am sure we are all doing :D ) write to Rounder records and let them know you want a DVD! :)
