How to convert windows movie maker files to you tube

omg this is pissing me off because my windows movie maker does not have a save movie file and my windows movie maker looks a lot different than all of the ones on youtube

@aspiredeon I found out how to. On the new version it has a box of ways to share the video. Select youtube a box will pop up and you sign into your windows and then your youtube and it should upload the correct format.

it's because your movie isn't up. just the pictures. make sure u actually open up the original movie. then it will show save movie file:)

Does these steps also work on vista or will I have to follow some aditional steps in order to get my video on youtube. I seem to always have problems that cause the error message that talks about the file cannot be uploaded on youtube becuase of some error. It doesn't specifically tell me what the error is only sometimes it's because of the file format is not a youtube format.

hey Sakura- im not sure if this is right but you may need to save it as project first then open it up and you may get the option to save movie file, also i know this may sound stupid, but make sure you actually have the movie all set and correct in windows movie maker

hey zorkaknight you need to click file, then go down to the option "import into collections" this can also be opened with the short cut ctrl+i
