Cal hasn't gone to a BCS bowl since 1959. Hasn't been to the Final Four since 1959.

Your team won...good game. But that doesn't change the fact that Cal is not a major player on the national sports scene. It was never about who was going to win tomorrow's game.
Until the Bears do something significant, such as make a BCS bowl game, go to a Final Four, or advance deep in the College World Series, all you will have is Rugby and that hot pole vaulter.
