why go into debt just to beat your chest and say "look at me, I got a new truck, and I dont own it, the bank dose" Common sense goes a long way here people.
I own 2 of these trucks, being that there are so many of em out there, parts are cheap, easy to repair/modify. Why go out and spend 30,000+ for a big chunk of plastic and a fucking soda can? I would rather spend a couple hundred bucks on an old truck, fix it up, and run it. They do the same thing as a new truck only difference is you buy it for a couple hundred and you own the fucker.

ok im the owner of these truck and this thing broke well the house broke on it becuz i drop it and the drive shaft was botton out in the trans so yea thats why its still fun fucking shit up hahah make the day go by lol
Wow a blown TH400(turbo 400 transmission) that's rare! The GM Turbo 400's were know to outlast any transmission in it's class! They must have ran theirs low on Tranny Fluid!
@WTR1050 half the fun of owning a chev is blowing it up and rebuilding it, you learn the tolerance of your truck and go from there, once something blows up you can just fix, rebuild, replace, to make it that much better

chevy, gmc, it's the same damn car. as for the trannys, thet use the same ones. Look at a 1987 gmc s15 jimmy, and a 1987 chevy s10 blazer. There is absolutely no difference.
