The webcam tracking seems like a waste and less accurate. It uses the main cpu whereas trackir 5 is hardware accelerated thus not requiring as much computing power from your cpu, trackir is the way to go for any serious simmer!

dunno face api, but freetrack is a free alternative, too.

with some simple modifications, you turn a webcam into a tracking device and freetrack does the rest for you.

Dont waste your money guys.. There is a program called FACE API thats does the same thing but works with your webcam.. And its free.. FACE API by SEEING MACHINES.. I use it in ArmA2, H.A.W.X and Grid with no problems..

Can you tell me what version of LockOn is this? I know there is one where you have 6DOF. Did you install any mod? Graphics looks better than I thought.

In lock on flaming cliffs you can zoom besides yaw and pitch with your track IR, but i haven't heard of any 6DOF version yet.

Hmm just to name a few maybe they should start with keeping illegal immigrants from coming over the border and bringing drugs which causes A LOT more worse crimes to this country. Or worry about cities with a lot of crime, your choice CoolDog? If you want cool online combat action get this one, if you want great graphics (and your pc is up to) and 6 degrees of freedom experience with Track IR, get fsx. Both are great sims anyway

And There is no Su-39. The designation goes: 25 (Frogfoot - Bomber), 27 (Flanker - Air Superiority), 33 (Flanker-D - Air Superiority), 37 (Flanker-E aka Terminator - AS) and 47 (Berkut - AS)

Almost different genres. Graphically, yes, they do relate to each other like that. But Lockon is a sort of "half sim", one driven by key commands rather than the cockpit buttons. FighterOps is more akin to the graphically atrocious Falcon 4.0
