  • did any body use both the ? (Tria and Silk'n) Please let us know the result.

  • Im a guy too bought it tried it for a year and it does nothing but makes your grow back patchy. I would like to sue this company and its affiliates for taking advantage of people with hair problems. Its like these drug companies selling bogus drugs for illnesses. After using it for a year ALL of my hair came back just as THICK and just as MUCH !!

  • 3:01 " chris you are looking at this leg here" " i am and its allowed" hahaha

  • I had laser treatment ending up in burned skin and my hair came back after a few weeks

  • This machine has nothing to do with laser, it's just a strong flash like the the one u have in ure camra flash, shooting photos with flash.

My flash speedlite 580II does the job done :)

  • @Klerkis I'm sorry but you are slightly stupid. The flash is not the same as a camera flash, they operate at different wavelengths. The wavelength used by Silk'n and other IPL hair reduction devices targets melanin. You're camera flash does not operate at this same wavelength, thus it would not target melanin nor would it reduce hair.

  • Whom we can believe in here!!

  • ive had the silkn since sept 09 use it every week and i still have to shave EVERY day. This is NOT permanent! The only way to get it is to go to a professional. This isnt a laser!! its an IPL light. it isnt strong enough and for 600 bucks plus additional light cartrideges u might as well pay the 3k for REAL laser/

  • Ok. Is is just me or did nobody notice that this advertisement is fake. That is not Good Morning America.

  • so tria are more closer to clinic laser machine, it does more permanent result??

if i am only removing a small area of hair, tria are more affordable to buy? since silk'n light bulbs are more expensive to burn ? does tira get replacement batteries somehow?

  • Don't be fooled by the convincing advertising. Neither Tria nor Silk'n will provide you with permanent removal. Neither is powerful enough to kill hair permanently. Clinics would be using these $500 devices instead of ther $50K+ machines if they were.

If you have dark coarse hair, then you'll get temporary reduction. Btw, 2.5 months is not enough time to tell anything. You need to have treatments over the course of 8-12 months minimum to go through all the hair cycles.

  • what happens if you accidently removed your mustach or hairs you wanna keep?

do they grew back after certain time?

if you keep zzzping same area, does the pores dies completely? no hair pores? no sweat? dry skin?

  • These devices are too weak to cause permanent damage to the hair, so you have nothing to worry about.

Lasers only affect the dark particles, which are just the hairs, not anything else on the skin.

  • I bought a Silkn and it worked great for me. It wasn't painful at all and I saw results in just a few weeks. After a few months of using it the results have been amazing. And, it's so much cheaper and more convenient than going to a doctor for treatments. I highly recommend it.

  • It doesn't give permanent results. Hair cycles, so you need to have treatments for 8-12 months at least and then wait at least 4 months to see the actual results. Everything will come back. This device is not powerful enough to cause permanent damage to the hair.

  • Who want sell tome used SLK'N?????????'

  • have any Guys used it & did it work ??

  • Im male using it. Hair goes away & it will come back. its not powerful enough for men to use, guys hair is to thick. im using it for more then a year im on to my 10th session & it just keeps growing back. Im not really hairy. this machine is peace of crap. but when you resell it again some one will buy it & you wont lose money. Silk'n is not powerful enough to yield permanent lasting results. For a short term fix, it might be Ok. good luck to other guys

  • You're correct except on one point. It's not not working because the hair is too thick. In fact, laser works best on the most coarse hair. But we're talking a powerful professional $50K+ machine. Both of these devices are too weak to cause any permanent damage to the hair.

  • @camboy1132 what about the Tria?

  • I dont think at it is working

  • does this work for darker skin people like

    like middle eastern skin type??

  • cartridges bulbs burn out after 2 weeks, u need 2 bulbs installeded to begain laser. there 80 dollers each. better resaults then the tria but they burn out. Tria dosent burn out but runs on batter life allows number pulses before the batterie life dies. great for Abercrombie & Fitch models. or varsity foot ball dudes. massive muscles

  • does this really works..!!!!! i want one.!!!

  • omg which 1 do i buy?????????

  • silk'n. covers like 6cm2 instead of 1cm :P takes ALOT less time
