Schmitt is a geologist, and if you will find that almost none of these skeptical experts have relevant degrees or have ever actually done any of their own research on the subject. However, virtually ALL the scientists who ARE qualified in that field and have done research are in agreement that global warming is real, serious, and caused by human carbon emissions. This sun stuff has been debunked.

The ONLY people with a propaganda interest here are the oil companies and their right-wing cronies.

Second, even if it was true, most of the people who discovered the seriousness and human cause of global warming got their PhDs before it ever became an issue. @Astrobrant2 Many scientist do disagree with it and I got my PHd knowledge from PHd students. I am an undergraduate research assistant for the Institute for Fusion Studies BTW. There have been papers published pro global warming and some against. The ones for it are typically computer models or looking at bad data sets. The ones against are typically empirical observations or ice core data. Obviously the scarier ones get more attention by the media and the grand mass of idiots out there.

@Astrobrant2 Disproving global warming is quite simple. Ice core data shows global temps and CO2 levels were higher than currently in earths history. Nature releases significantly more CO2 than man does. As a matter of fact nearly every living creature is making CO2 including your self right now hence why it isn't labeled as a pollutant. H2O is a much stronger greenhouse gas. H2O is responsible for 99%+ of the green house affect. Data has been shown to be manipulated historically.
