I love this game!!! Wow brings back so many good memories. These were the simple time where games were simple and didn't have to be based on reality. Hovering jetcycles how cool is that? This game and Twisted Metal 2 were makes me and my sister player after class on Friday afternoons. Now she's married and I'm in grad school.

maaaaan ice crusher. the music on that map still gets me pumped up. this game was fucking perfect. great music, very challenging and superb graphics. most of my friends hated this game because it was too hard, but my dad i and became fucking experts.

I remember playing this game with my brother. There was a trick we learned (we had a PS1, so I don't know if this worked for the original or not, but) where you could open the top and take out the disk and put in an audio disk into the PS1 and keep playing the game, but the music on the CD would play. Jet Moto + Mortal Kombat soundtrack? You're damn straight! :D

And all I need to do is pop the cd in after loading a level, right? My PSX has gone to a better place a long time ago but I want to try that trick with an emulator via the cd change option.

Can I still pop in the Jet Rider cd after a race?

@keeperxiii I've never tried it with an emulator before, but I imagine it should work. What we used to do was pause the game during a race, eject the disk and just swipe it for an audio CD. I think the game runs even if you don't have any disk at all in it once a race is loaded, but I can't be sure for how long. Probably 'til the end of the race, or perhaps just keeps going. It's been a long time, so I can't recall the details. But I think putting the game back in after a race works. Try it out!

Single Trac is the company who made Tm Tm 2 and Jet Moto and the 1997 game Jet Moto 2 and the 1998 thhe same game but with new stuff and 989 Studios Sony's comapny who splited and went back to Sony

This is one of those few games that are as fun as they are frustrating. I didn't care if i crashed or came on top (which was rarely), i had fun. It has Twisted Metal's developers, and a great chunk of TM's atmosphere.

I played this game so much in the '90s. Fun but can be very difficult to master and takes a long time to learn the tracks. The music for every tracks is amazing. We really need a new jetmoto for this current gen on consoles and pc. I know sinletrac is long gone but who owns the IP now?

I got this game for one of my birthdays, but I forgot when though. This was very hard because the only way to unlock new race tracks was to win full career on the hardest difficult, even with fastest people. Doing that is not a walk in the park. I did it once but I can't do it again because on some of these tracks like "ice crusher" 1 screw up can lead to you crashing into something or falling off the track forcing you to start at the last checkpoint you went through.
