Guys, it can be useful, for example you need Swap Magic 3 to play some games (compatibility) but you have Swap Magic 2, you can download SM3 and boot it from SM2 to play the game you need SM3 for... Think about it before trolling.

They are various years that use swap magic in all versions (3.6 - 3.8 coder) and I have tried various times to copy these discs but it is not possible.

Also unloading the ISO of swap magic and masterized they on cd or dvd the ps2 do not read the copy of backup of the swap magic.

This because as soon as it ignites itself ps2 it tries a disc originates them and therefore the copy of the swap magic does not go well but it must use the swap by force magic originates them.

I'ts impossible! ;-)

This is pointless. It is impossible to replicate the required Burst Cutting Area on any burnable media by using a consumer or "commercial" grade burner, which IS required by the ACTUAL PS2 hardware and IS the main purpose of Swap Magic. Just because it works on an emulator doesn't mean it actually performed its INTENDED purpose.

@badboyazza2009 there is a workaround to write the bad sectors which cause swap magic to work from a dvd but i'm not looking into that so i cant explain.I, on the other hand, own swap magic 3.8 which has which has worse copatibility than 3.6 and my ar tonelico 2 is not booting so im trying to see if i can download 3.6 and boot it with 3.8 so i can see if the game would work now.would that be dumb??

@EdgeRatedR007 I had a similar problem with version 3.6 DVD disk. My problem was that the dvd didn't sit flush in the ps2. Make sure all 3 prongs on the spinning unit of the ps2 are locked onto the dvd. Just work it into the unit until it is evenly locked in place. Hope that helps

no it won't..You need to BUY it..Unless you have a state of the art burner which Sony uses(1200-1500 $) You need to buy it,the discs are encoded for play,your burner can't do that..It's only 40 bucks just cough up some cash.

The disc you burn will be purple. You need a silver pressed disc and the PS2 will say "Invalid PS2 Disc," because it can only read silver-pressed discs until it is modded. Please don't waste your time, folks.

technically it can, but you have to cogswap just to get it to work, then you have to use a boot disk with a fakesign, then it has to be inserted and you press X, then you swap for a game disc, and cogswap does the same thing as this, so one shouldn't waste time and DVD's.
