Penumbra Requiem

I was just wondering, and this is a serious question. Penumbra is my favorite horror game series ever made, so Episode 1 (Overture) and Episode 2 (Black Plauge) Where all great but Requiem really doesnt fit anywhere with the story..But my real question was, will there be any new Penumbra games in the Future or will most of them be based on such games as Amnesia?

Heys guys from FrictionalGames, please could you answer a quick question for me.

Obviouslly you can't tell me what your next upcoming game title is but please could you shed some light on what features it will have? i.e will it be another horror survival game that is VERY scary like Black plague or will it be more or a puzzle adventure like Requim???

Penumbra Requiem sucks..............No monsters , no terror , no scary.........BuT Amnesia The Dark Descent is really scary.......and very dark.......:(.....I don`t want to play Amnesia anymore :))

Ah yes, the worst game in the series. Although it did seem similar at second glance, it is mostly puzzle solving with no real story.

Are there any monsters in this one? Dogs? Aliens? Cuz ive played overture just fine but black plague just makes me fucking press the escs button every time. Does requiem have any enemies?

I'm a bit confused about the ending. If you leave through the door you end up back at the ship, but that seems to trap the main character in a loop of the mind.

If you burn in the chamber with read we see the main character on the floor where he sent the final transmission, but to me this ending seems like the good one. Did he live or not? D:

No it's not, it's a puzzle expansion for Black Plague so mainly puzzles and less scares.

It's music from the game, first part is the end credits music. The second part is ambient music from the Kennel level.

By the way has anyone figuerd out what those "whispers" you hear when you click this wierd containers is? i tried to record them and revers them but i got absolutly nothing... Just random whispers to make you scared or is there a hidden message?

look at the installation folders. There should be an Sound FX or Sounds Folder. In there are these sounds. You can hear them better, so try to revers them. Good luck :)

Well this story was messed up yes, But its in his "dream world" since he chose to betray the Tuurngait, they "killed" him so he ended up here. when he finally exited the dream world he died for real... So this is what happend after black plauge.. after he sent the email... In his dreams.. Phillip never made it :(

However in a way I'm glad they arn't making another one, it leaves the unanswered questions for the player to fill in :3

However it would be cool if they did tie some of the plot into some of there newer games =p

They are working on another horror game that will give the player more room to work on.. In penumbra the story was like one road to follow - The new game its gonna be like, You can either solve question A first or question D first. like sevral roads to chose :P
