I grew up with all the stereotypical responses coming from europeans about Africa – using the excuse of europe's own barbaric internal territorial conquests in the many centuries past as some kind of justifiication, implying that Africa needs 'to get over, and on, with it'. The Africa that has been carved, was deeply cut by the european knife – we therefore bear collective responsibility for it's well-being.
Unbelievable. Shows how stupid and ignorant the rest of the world is. Who can blame them though? the media does its job well; it belittles Africa and totally exaggerates the continent's level of development. Colonisation is still alive and well; the format's changed since the 1960's. This is pathetic
