Oasis Is so underrated, I guess they really damaged their own projection by playing games with the press. Such a vast & brilliant catalog will be all that matters eventually. I'm getting in tune with the Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants album & era, Noel buried the album this year by saying he regrets releasing it. I think it is a brilliant masterpiece of a record and totally captures it's time. Cheers.

With 44 songs from the first two records & nine UK singles they "conquered the world" and achieved legend status, breaking and setting a lot of records along the way... The Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants period is the one that I feel is underrated, maybe it's just were I live that they get a bad rap, many people dissing them. Finally it came down to the music for me & I'm Loving my Oasismania. Could go on for hours. Cheers.

Well, that's cause he doesn't play guitar (he knows how to, he just doesn't do it in Oasis). They were sort of in between members at that time, but they had to do a video. And when they were gonna do it they had only replaced Bonehead on rhythm guitar with Gem Archer, Andy Bell came into the picture shortly afterwards. So on the video Noel took Guigsy's place on bass guitar, Gem Archer took Noels place on lead guitar and Liam took Gems place. Fun eh? ;)

Fuck you talking about? Heathen Chemistry got them on a positive track to perform good music which lead to don't believe the truth. Standing on the shoulder of giants is good but it is still a mix of what Oasis really is. It was like they tried the new age music. And with new adds to the band they experimented and now that they have found their rhythm again they will get back to the old Oasis. Heathen Chemistry to date is their 4th best rated album.

Oh. Well, truthfully, I only liked 4 songs on that whole album. And SotSoG wasn't new age experimentation, it was more psychedelic(like Pink Floyd), and I love Pink Floyd. Anyone who says Noel Gallagher isn't a great musician, just listen to this song. The bass is thunderous. And the guitar solo at 3:53 is marvelous. I know the rest of SOTSOG wasn't that good. But this song shows Noel's talents filling in for Guigsy's bass, and Bonehead's rhythm.
