That is a sweet maneuver. But it takes critical timing which is probably why you don't see it anymore. The guy being "destroyed" has to do a perfectly timed back flip while the "destroyer" rolls through it like a monkey dive while holding onto the guys waist. Don't ask me to ever try that.. lmao!

This is such an unrealistic stupid move! I know that wrestling moves are choreographed requiring cooperation by both participants but this is ridiculous. I could body slam, powerslam, somoan drop, suplex, piledrive someone even with resistance in a real fight. There is no way that this move could work ever. Maybe if you were fighting an 8 yr old but not someone your own size. This and the styles clash are just way farfetched.

If you look at the way the "victim" is able to tuck their head as they are coming down...

It was actually a piledriver that broke Taz's neck back in the 90s. He got a pile driver, and was unable to "tuck" before his head made impact. (The same thing happened to Arn Anderson during his very short stint with WWF back in the late 80s, but the move was a Victory Roll (Hurricanrana) by Marty Janetty).

This would technically be one of the safest pile drivers you could deliver.
