No, I find it creepy that the show had Peter and Claire meet as strangers and spark with instant chemistry, only to find out that they were related two months later. If there's anything we learned from Star Wars, it's that you just don't do that! Why do people like you seem to forget that Peter and Claire didn't know each other when they first met, and that millons of fans were led to believe that they would become romatically involved at some point? You do know that they dated in real life?

Yeah I know that they dated in real life, and I also know that they knew each other on the show before being introduced as niece and uncle, but NOW that we know they are "related" it's just weird to keep going on about how PETER and CLAIRE should be together. Whatever they do outside the show is a separate issue.

The point is, do the characters really WORK as an uncle/niece? What looks good on paper doesn't always translate onscreen, which is what Paire 'shippers have been arguing since day 1. If they wanted to make them related, they shouldn't have given them those boy-meets-girl moments in Homecoming and Fallout; their chemistry makes it difficult to see them as relatives. Brothers & Sisters had the smae problem with Justin and Rebecca, and came up with a solution -- unrelate them! It worked. ;)

I know Peter and Claire never kissed; that was a manip of Peter and Elle made to look like Peter and Claire in this video. I was defending the maker of this vid who agrees with a lot of us that Peter and Claire should never have been made relatives in the first place. They would have been much better as romantic interests given their chemistry.
