Guys, the mercenaries serie's are dead (as good as). The studio is shot down and there will be no more new game. Personally, i'm a big fan of The Mercenaries games. I mis mercenaries 2: world in flames. the freedom you got, all those tanks & helicopters, fucking up buildings & enemy bases whit an apache......

Mercs 1 was an amazing way to show off the first Gen open world type arena.  Good story, incredible game play, and replay value like no other. Mercs 2 was a complete and utter failure. The game had glitches that most people stumbled on after playing for less than an Hour. The story was a ghastly joke, not to mention the attempt at recapturing the originals feel and play was a disaster. I am sorry if this offends people, but I still think Mercs one was the best game on the original BOX.

Mercs 2 was a lot of fun. This Mercs 3 looks like they took the fun out of it and tried to make it more serious --which to be honest, if I wanted serious I'd play COD. So, not sure what they were going for here. I would like to see the old team back together again with some new additions. If EA is working on Mercs Inc. I'll be interested.

@falclao Yeah it was....and is......2 had some problems namely accidently blowing up bridges screwed you outta some races, some missions were overly difficult like petrol ceo guy were he has to destroy documents at last part at oil refinery it sucked when you had to shoot down all tose choppers cause they almost always crashed into building thus blowing it up kiling guy and failing mission....but it was fun with cheats though then you couldnt get acheivments....

The vid wasnt meant for public consumption, plus i think they knew buisness was going downhill. Even some of the big name games like Gears of war look shitty in the first stages of production, but soon grow better. When it looks really good, a company will then throw out a launch trailer

Mercenaries, although one of my favorite games, does not sell like say Dead Space or, as bad as the game really was, Medal of Honor. EA is in trouble financially which is why a lot of their studios have closed. Yes SOME of the pandemic employees still are with EA but not many. This is not some made up piece of information, look it up from your own sources. Mine comes from GameInformer and EA.
