Uhm,.. excuse me?? Westernized?? A head of time? LOL. I think this drama reflects Korea's reality in a best way. The main reason Koreans liked this was b/c it was very realistic. Soulmate was aired after midnight, so it's ratings were low, but it has created enough issue that MBC even considered season 2 which is very rare in Korea. If you go to Korean web community sites, you can see that they are prasing this drama. It was popular enough.

Great series. But it was just a bit rushed. I dont know why Kdramas cant ever give us a good ending :P Like they dont have to be married in the end, id settle for the meeting up in tokyo again, or even having coffee and talking and the camera just fading off. Like give us a little something for closure or something :P Still great series though. Made me a fan of Shin Dong Wook!! :P

I watched Soulmate after watching Coffee Prince and I find these kind of dramas totally refreshing. I was so drawn in and the OSTs kick butt. No one ended up dying from a terminal illness or had amnesia or involved a huge family feud. This drama matched my personality.
