well as the story apparently goes as told on the ETD special disc dvd bolo actually jumped on bruces bak and challenged him but bruce lee countered and bloodyed his face all up so there is a story out there is it true ?idk11

Bruce fought Bolo on the set of Enter the Dragon. They were going over a scene and Bolo started really trying to hurt Bruce because he didn't respect him, and Bruce tied him up against the wall and let him have it. Bruce never lost a fight, despite the many challengers he faced that didn't respect his abilities, or thought he was just an actor.

Bruce and Bolo were actually good friends, he was going to take Bolo and Yuen Wah over stateside to do a movie after ETD.

Probably Bruce Lee. Bruce Lee was way more of a pound of pound guy. Even though he wasnt as big as Bolo he's probably just as strong as he is in addition to being more agile and super quick. Good question though. Too bad Bruce didnt live long enough to have a good fight scene with Bolo.

Wow I never knew Bolo was 5'6". He made everyone looks tiny so it was hard to take notice in Enter the Dragon. And he lives in Monterey Park! That's a 10 minute bike ride from my house, I go to a dojo there. I can't believe he's lived so close this whole time.

bolo had 1 or 2 stepped sparring with brucelee while making Enter Dragon..there were very young guys who tried to spar with bruce lee and they did it...of course bruce lee demonstrated them his superiority...there is a one more serious case when bruce lee kicked ass of kid who provoked him by insulting him...bob wall told this story..other cases were a game, sparrings...

I think Lee would be able to floor him with his speed and skill but if he got cornered or Bolo got his hands on him then he would win.

I think Bruce Lee might have underestimated himself. I think that even if he could not sufficiently hurt an opponent they would have found it difficult to land decisive blows on him due to his skill. I am not saying he could not have been defeated but I doubt such a thing would have been easy for anyone no matter how big and strong they were. However,by saying what he said I am sure caused a lot of opponents to underestimate him. :-)

Not sure if Bolo would have fought Lee. I think much admiration there. He was a student of Lee. However, around this time, Bolo was superior in strength and size. He also had great skills (not superior to Lee) and speed. Comparing the two Lee was superior in skill and speed but Bolo would have won the match. He combined bb with martial arts. Killer como!

Yes,but martial arts is more about skill than strength though strength is important. Bolo could have been defeated by a lot of smaller more skillful opponents. Same with boxing. Even Kimbo Slice who has got to be strong as an ox has found himself utterly defeated by smaller less strong but more skilled opponents. Take care.

Bruce and Bolo were friends even before Enter The Dragon began production. I wouldn't be surprised if Bolo got his part because of Bruce's recommendation. It seems highly unlikely Bolo would jeopardize his starring villain role in the film, potential future work offers and his friendship with Bruce to "see who is the better man." I know there was a fight with a "big guy" on the set of the movie. But as most people have said it was an extra. Highly, highly unlikely it was Bolo.
