Wow,the distance from Gowrie to Upfield is suprisingly long. Several times I've cycled just as far as before the curves at 7:27 before getting bored and coming to the conculsion that Upfield was just around the corner, therefore heading back.
Turns out its about 8 times further than I thought it would be.
i think connex should change its livery to the met's one but keep the name connex.this is because green and gold represents australia whereas blue doesnt.
No, that is in Melbourne, Australia. I live on the line shown in the video- it's the Upfield line. This video was taken in 1992, some six years before the line was upgraded to automatic signalling (including automated level crossings).
i know that song soon it will be remixed its called
moring train ( bass remix

Macauley looked so much better when it wasn't under the citylink freeway. These days the station is a dark depressing place.

its so sad to see how much things have changed, i never knew coburg was only a single platformed station until watched this vid today

Only the section between Upfield and Somerton.
HitachiManau 4 years ago
They're thinking of extending the line up to Craigieburn now.

thats the broady line
TwistedcautioN 4 years ago
No it isn't. Last time i checked, the broady line has been completley double track since the 1880's, not the 1990's like upfield
vrgunzel 3 years ago
Wow, looks a little different without the freeway there.
